It is our very great pleasure to announce that poets Molly Peacock and Jane Weir are this month’s guest readers.

Molly Peacock lives in Toronto. She has published five books of poetry, including Cornucopia: New and Selected Poems, and a memoir, Paradise, Piece by Piece. She has been the president of the Poetry Society of America and poet-in-residence at the Cathedral of St John the Divine. Her poems appear in leading periodicals and anthologies, including The Best American Poetry and The Oxford Book of American Poetry. She is one of the originators of poetry in Motion, the popular programme of placards on subways and buses in Canada and the US. Her latest collection is The Second Blush.

Jane Weir is an Anglo-Italian, grew up in Manchester and lived in Belfast for several years. She was joint winner of the first Jackson Dawson Award for Poetry and her first collection The Way I Dressed During the Revolution was shortlisted for the Glen Dimplex New Writers Award in 2006. She has published a pamphlet, Alice, based partially on the life of the early Twentieth Century political activist, Alice Wheeldon, and a short monograph on Charlotte Mew. She is currently completing a monograph on Katherine Mansfield. Her second collection Before Playing Romeo was published by Templar Poetry in 2007.
