Poetry Writing Workshop with Matthew Sweeney
Matthew Sweeney, the award-winning Irish poet, editor, and author of Teach Yourself Writing Poetry, will lead a workshop which develops imaginative approaches to writing and encourages risk taking. The workshop will focus on starting points for new work, rather than on criticism of existing work.

Poetry Writing Workshop with Peter Sansom Peter Sansom ('the best poetry teacher in the world'- The Guardian) is a director of The Poetry Business in Sheffield, and co-editor of The North Magazine and Smith/Doorstop Books. His Selected Poems is published this year by Carcanet Press. He is also the author of Writing Poetry (Bloodaxe Books). Peter's workshop will use a variety of approaches to explore the process of drafting and editing individual poems and to examine the relationships between poems in a body of work.
