‘I thoroughly enjoyed reading and mulling over the entrants for the award,’ said YMWA judge and author of Guantanamo Boy, Anna Perera. ‘I was impressed by the variety of the tales and the sophistication, imagination
and ability of the writers.'

After months of having sifted through stacks of entries from children across the UK and even from abroad, Muslim Hands are pleased to announce the shortlisted entrants for the Young Muslim Writers Awards 2010 which are as follows;
