Out-Spoken's annual poetry competition for previously unpublished poetry is now open.

A prize of £500 will be awarded on the 24th November to the winning poet at the Out-Spoken award

ceremony which will be held at The Forge, Camden.

Winners of the other four categories will each receive £100 plus be invited to perform their work on the night.

The ceremony will also feature a guest performance from British poet Brian Patten with music from

internationally acclaimed Shama Rahman and her quintet.

Judges: Sabrina Mahfouz, Jacob Sam-La Rose, Niall O'Sullivan, Helen Mort, Ira Lightman.
