The call for submissions for the 2017 T S Eliot Prize for the best new collection of poetry published between 1st January – 31st December 2017 has now been sent out to poetry publishers in the UK and Ireland.

Submissions may only be made by publishers and self-published work is not eligible.

Judges: W N Herbert (chair), James Lasdun and Helen Mort.

First Prize: £20,000
10 x shortlisted prizes: of £1,500

The closing date for submissions will be Friday 4 August.

Submissions must be accompanied by a submissions form.
