LAST CHANCE: Bath Fringe Festival seeking Young Persons' Poet Laureate.

Would you like to learn how to write poetry and perform your work in front of an audience?

Do you think you can promote poetry to other young people in Bath? If so, applications are now open

to all young people aged under 21 who are from Bristol, Bath and surrounding area.

Successful applicants will be given workshops in performance poetry during half term and then will

compete on June 6th for the title of Bath Fringe Young Persons' Poet Laureate 2015.

All successful poets will receive a cash prize.

Dates:

Poetry writing workshop 27th May 10-3PM.

Poetry performance workshop 6th June 3.30- 6.30PM.

Performance 6th June 7PM.

Venue for workshops and performance: 44AD Gallery, 4 Abbey Street Bath BA1 1NN

• Request an application form, complete it, get your parents to sign for their consent for you to take part

• Tell us why you would like to be Bath Fringe's Young Persons' Poet Laureate.

The workshops and final performance will be run by poet and facilitator Angie Belcher
