Established in October 2014, in south-east London, Lunar Poetry Podcasts is a series of discussions, interviews and live recordings with poets around the UK and further.
Since July 2016 the series has been supported by a GFTA from Arts Council England ensuring that all episodes have remained free to download as well as being accompanied by transcripts.
To date the LPP has published over 100 episodes with more than 180 poets appearing in recordings from the UK, Cuba, Turkey, Nigeria, Sweden and Norway. The series is hosted on SoundCloud but can also be downloaded via the iTunes and Stitcher Radio apps.
The latest episode (#103) is an interview with poet Rishi Dastidar; Rishi reads from his latest collection, Ticker-tape, and discusses editing for both The Rialto and And Other Poems, as well as the effect this editorial work has on his own writing.
In 2017 LPP was shortlisted for a Saboteur poetry award as well as being awarded a bronze in the inaugural British Podcast Awards.
