Bristol Poetry Festival 2016

There are no more appreciative audiences for poetry than in Bristol, be it for readings or for performance poetry or for poetry slams, and as always I would like to thank everyone who attended the Festival this year for your attention and your appreciation, because of you Bristol has a great nationwide reputation as a place where poets want to come to read and perform. Thank you too to the poets who came, and who were so inspiring, generous and giving.  A big thank you to all the people who worked and volunteered at Bristol Poetry Festival 2016. Thank you to the University of the West of England for sponsoring the Poetry Festival and to all the venues and their staff who hosted the events, I would like to thank Bristol Grammar School, in particular for lending us the wonderful MacKay as a base for four exemplary nights of poetry readings, great bar too!  I hope to see you next year!
