The workshop will include a poetic stroll on the Bristol waterfront and a writing session in the Arnolfini.
Participants in the workshop may be invited to read at a Bristol waterfront poetry event during Bristol Spring Poetry Festival in April 2014.

Jo Bell is a poet and poetry activist working across the UK. Born and brought up in Sheffield and the Peak District.
Jo was a professional archaeologist for 18 years. She was the director of the UK’s National Poetry Day campaign
and a programmer for the Ledbury Poetry Festival in 2011. Jo is a floating poet, a boat dweller, she has lived on
Tinker, a 67-foot narrowboat, for the last decade – the experience inspired her first collection, Navigation
– She was appointed by the Canal & River Trust as the first ever canal laureate in 2012
